Madame Tussauds : Connect on the go app for iPhone and iPad

***General description***

JCDecaux Transport has just launched their first ever interactive indoor treasure hunt with Madame Tussaud Hong Kong using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Beacons and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies. By using the ‘Connect on the Go’ app, you will have indoor Wayfinding services in the Central and Hong Kong MTR Stations. You will also be able to take virtual selfies with your favorite celebrities!

港鐵廣告與香港杜莎夫人蠟像館合作推出全港首創以Beacon及AR技術結合的戶外攝影遊戲，透過此應用程式，讓你能虛擬地與一眾名人合照，製作你獨一無二的名人相片集。
於活動期間，只須到港鐵香港中環及香港站，透過手機開啟應用程式，選取你喜歡的名人，並跟據提供的路線尋找該名人的定點位置，掃瞄廣告上的特定標籤，即可與名人虛擬合照。
活動將分為8星期進行，每1星期可與4位名人合照，1星期內集齊4張合照，即有機會贏取獎品。若能於活動期間集齊所有名人合照(共32張) ，更有機會贏取終極大獎！所有獎品名額有限，先到先得！


***How does it work? ***

During the campaign period, open this app and select a celebrity while you are at the Central MTR and/or Hong Kong MTR Station. You will be guided to a checkpoint and prompted to scan an icon with your camera.
A photo frame with the celebrity will then appear: Take a selfie with the celebrity! Your picture will be added to your collection. You could take photo with up to 4 different celebrities per week. When all 4 photos have been collected in a particular week, you will have a chance to win a prize.
The campaign will last for 8 weeks. If all photos (total 32) during the campaign period have been collected, you will have a chance to win grand prize. Prizes are available while stocks last!

***About this App***

This app uses iBeacon indoor positioning and location services while the user is within the Central/Hong Kong MTR stations to provide Indoor Way finding services.
Bluetooth must be enabled in order to locate the user within the venue and to send them a push notification when they are near a checkpoint.
Camera authorization is required to scan icons and to take the selfies.
Battery consumption will increase while using this app, as the app is using location services and Bluetooth
